Barbara Garlan Rosenblum passed away on Thursday, February 15th, 2018 in San Francisco, CA. She was born to Dr. and Mrs. Sam and Clara Garlan on August 23, 1934 in Manhattan, NY. Barbara married the love of her life, Morton A. Rosenblum, M.D. in New York City on May 5, 1957. He preceded her in death after 52 years of marriage. She graduated from Cornell University and received her MBA at Boston University. For over four decades, she was a chartered financial analyst, wealth advisor, and a pioneering woman in the wealth management industry.

Barbara avidly loved jazz, theater, fine arts, dance, world travel, tennis, and socializing. Her happiest moments were traveling the globe in search of new adventures or exhibiting her expertise on the tennis court. Above all, she was a lover of seizing each day to its fullest while living her life with no regrets. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children artist Diane Rosenblum and Dr. & Mrs. Leland and Tia Rosenblum, as well as her grandchildren Max and Luke.

Memorial services will be held at Sinai Memorial Chapel, 1501 Divisadero Street, 10:30 am on Sunday, February 18, followed by a graveside burial at Home of Peace Cemetery, 1299 El Camino Real in Colma, 12:15 pm.

The Rosenblum Family would like to extend special thanks to Joseph Sabella, M.D. for his love, compassion, and support in the last years of her life.
